When response time is critical, the Segway PT can travel up to 12.5 mph/20 kph, or about the pace of a brisk run. And with a range of up to 24 miles/38 km, it can keep up when a running responder typically can’t. The Segway PT can keep the rider stationary or quickly accelerate to running speeds.
