2003- 2005: STD Prevention Post Doctoral Fellow, Association of Teachers of
Preventive Medicine and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

received IRB approval for research protocol examining prenatal STD testing in Florida.
Month long experience at the Florida State Laboratories in all divisions. This fellowship
included a 4-6 month rotation at the CDC in Atlanta. While at the CDC, I participated in the
preparation of internet alerts for state health departments, qualitative and quantitative data
analysis of a evaluation survey and content evaluation of internet sites offering STD
information to gay and lesbian adolescents Participation in projects at the Behavioral
Interventions and Research Branch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA. 2003-2004: Research Assistant, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.
