School of Nursing Responsibilities in the director role include liaison activities with community partners, recruitment of students, hiring faculty, assigning faculty, resolving student issues, and supervision of program advisors. Teaching responsibilities include assignments in the traditional BSN program and the MSN program. Responsibilities include both theoretical and clinical instruction in childbearing family, community, pharmacology and research in the BSN programs. MSN courses include Nursing Research and Theory and Advanced Practice Women’s Health. Additional responsibilities in the School of Nursing include academic advising and active involvement in University and School of Nursing committees. 2003- 2005: STD Prevention Post Doctoral Fellow, Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Developed and received IRB approval for research protocol examining prenatal STD testing in Florida. Month long experience at the Florida State Laboratories in all divisions. This fellowship included a 4-6 month rotation at the CDC in Atlanta. While at the CDC, I participated in the preparation of internet alerts for state health departments, qualitative and quantitative data analysis of a evaluation survey and content evaluation of internet sites offering STD information to gay and lesbian adolescents Participation in projects at the Behavioral
